The teaser starts off with the establishment of Nani’s Sundaram character. He is a young lad from an orthodox Brahmin family and he is troubled by ‘gandams’, and his parents organise multiple ‘Homams’ to cast positive energy in his life.
Then comes Nazriya Nazim’s Leela character. She is a Christian and a traditional one at it. One thing leads to another and Sundaram and Leela end up falling for each other. But their families are completely against this inter-religion relationship. What follows later forms the remaining plot.
The narrative has Vivek Athreya mark stamped all over it. He has picked another interesting plot line. Vivek Sagar’s background score is fresh. The visual presentation is appealing as well.
The teaser promises a fun-filled comedy entertainer set in Hindi-Christian lead pair love track backdrop. There is good scope for comedy but it needs to be handled well to make for a compelling watch.
There hasn’t been a proper comedy entertainer in the recent past and Ante Sundaraniki promises just that. It does appear to have what it takes to cater to family audience.
Ante Sundaraniki hits the silver screens on the 10th of June.
