A total of five movies are going to hit screens on December 21st. Among them, two are direct Telugu, and two are dubbed into Telugu, one is a Hindi release. The two direct Telugu movies are Antariksham starring Varun Tej, Lavanya Tripathi and Aditi Rao Hydari and Padi Padi Leche Manasu starring Sharwanand and Sai Pallavi.
First things first, neither Antariksham nor Padi Padi Leche Manasu is getting a big release. As mentioned above, many films are releasing and screens are being shared among those five films. Being the two direct Telugu movies with known faces, Antariksham and Padi Padi Leche Manasu are getting good numbers of screens.
The bookings for both are decent and nothing exceptional. As things stand before the release, they are neck and neck. It is an advantage for Varun Tej starrer though as it should be a little low considering its genre. However, the real pump in numbers would arrive only tomorrow when the talk kicks in, the film with better word of mouth should easily stay ahead.
