On Friday, ANR’s 90th birthday was celebrated on a grand scale. The who’s who of the industry were present at the event where India’s last acting legend was honored. Also present on the occasion were Chiranjeevi and many other members of Telugu industry.
Politician and film enthusiast T. Subbarami Reddy said that there was a legend, there is one, there will be only one; and it will be none other than Akkineni Nageswara Rao. He said he wishes that ANR continues acting and impresses all his fans like he did many years ago.
Manam will be ANR’s 256th film and it will be 71st year in the industry as an actor. These days actors are not even able to stick around for a decade, but here is an actor who has been around for seven decades.
