Sankalp Reddy shot to fame with his debut film itself, Ghazi. The National Award-winning filmmaker is now all set to make inroads into Bollywood. Sankalp Reddy is directing his first Hindi film, IB 71. The filmmaker is teaming up with action hero Vidyut Jammwal.
The film is bankrolled by Vidyut Jammwal which marks his first home production under Action Hero Films. The film sees Vidyut starring in it, where he would be seen as an intelligence officer. The story deals with how the Indian Armed Forced got an added advantage for the two front war by the Intelligence team.
The film is on the lines of Ghazi which also dealt about the underwater attack between India and Pakistan. Likewise, IB 71 is an espionage thriller that is set before the Indo-Pakistani war. More details are yet to be announced.
Meanwhile, Sankalp Reddy is thankful to the producers for having faith in him. It is worth mentioning that, Sankalp Reddy is the second director who will be directing a Hindi film. Recently, VV Vinayak announced his Bollywood directorial debut with Bellamkonda Sreenivas’ Chatrapathi remake.
