EK Mini Katha Uppena wreaked havoc at the ticket-window with the collections. Uppena was the first film to have raked in 50 crores share after theatres got opened, which instilled hope that things have bounced back to the film industry.

However, the hope didn’t last for long with the country in the grip of the second wave of COVID. With several states having announced lockdown to partial ones, back home Telangana government has imposed shut down on theatres.

With no relief in the offing with cases on up rise, the films which were supposed to have theatrical releases have been cancelled. Anasuya Bharadwaj’s Thank You Brother was the first film to go for digital streaming which got released on Aha.

Looks like, now another film follows the same suit. UV Creations‘ latest venture, EK Mini Katha was supposed to have theatrical release in April, but with things taking more time, the makers are reportedly in talks with Amazon Prime. The official announcement may be out in a week.

It is a sort of adult comedy which says ‘Does Size Matters?’. Merlapaka Gandhi, known to be a sensible filmmaker has penned script for the film.
