Another Quality That Makes Rajamouli Extra SpecialSS Rajamouli has reached a stage where the audience expects a larger-than-life canvas from his films. He is someone who is making films others can’t even dream of.

He is challenging himself with every film with a bigger vision. The producers are also hiking their stakes and Rajamouli is delivering each and every time. He has reached a stage now where he can be compared to the biggest directors in the world.

However, the director himself remains humble and is quite appreciative of films that are successful, irrespective of the budget and director.

One movie that has made a splash across India is the pan-Indian Kannada film Kantara. The film was made with a modest budget of Rs 16 crore and made Rs 400 crore across India. The Rishabh Shetty-directed film has set a new challenge for all directors who make heavy-budget films, says Rajamouli.

Rajamouli said Kantara has put a lot of pressure on filmmakers like him who spend big. While saying that ‘big budget’ films are always a drawing factor, Rajamouli reiterated the fact that filmmakers can look up to Kantara’s filmmakers for pulling off such an extraordinary feat.

As of now, Rajamouli is canvassing for an Oscar entry for his film RRR. He will then move on to his next film with Mahesh which is said to be a jungle adventure, set in Africa.
