Varun Tej has replaced Pawan Kalyan. The actor confirmed the release date of Ghani by locking February 25. This indirectly suggests that Pawan Kalyan’s Bheemla Nayak is out of the February 25th race.
While the Bheemla Nayak makers haven’t announced officially, given the 50 percent occupancy in Andhra Pradesh theaters and with no update on new GO on the ticket price hike, the Bheemla Nayak team is likely to go for postponement. Now Bheemla Nayak makers would go for April 1 release.
Meanwhile, Varun Tej doesn’t have the solo release advantage. The young Mega hero has to compete with Sharwanand’s Aadavallu Meeku Joharlu, which coincides on the same date. While Ghani comes as a sport-based drama, Aadavallu Meeku Joharlu is a family entertainer. Both the films are carrying good pre-buzz.
Speaking about Bheemla Nayak, the clarity on theater occupancy and ticket prices in Andhra Pradesh could be out soon. Given that RRR is slated for release on March 25, the issue would be sorted out.
