Filmmaker Kethireddy Jagadishwara Reddy is becoming a joke day by day announcing biopics on controversial subjects but nothing seems to be happening with regard to the making of the films. He came up with back-to-back announcements on ‘Lakshmi’s Veeragrandham’ and nothing substantial came out till date except for a copy, cut-paste kind of first look posters.
He came up with another announcement saying that he will be helming another biopic titled ‘Sasilalitha’ obviously based on the relationship between Jayalalitha and Sashikala and the former’s last days when she was allegedly deprived of any medical help. When it came to Kethireddy’s Telugu biopic on Lakshmi Parvathi, no one knows when the film would release and the film was hardly registered among the audiences.
The bigger question is, will ‘Lakshmi’s Veeragrandham’ ever release? There is no point in releasing the film after polls given the controversial aspect of the subject he has been claiming since he initiated the biopic. Who would watch such a movie after polls when the reception for the biopics of stars was very cold? Now, he is talking about Jayalalitha biopic digging into Sasikala’s controversial role. Looks like, he is limiting himself just to the announcements and later, there seems to be no progress on his projects.
