Anni Manchi Sakunamule is the costliest budget film in Santosh’s career. The movie’s budget went around 23 Crore due to high production values, superior casting, and also, the COVID delays. But then, the makers are still happy.
The team recovered 20 Crore from the sale of the non-theatrical rights like Music, Satellite, OTT, and Hindi dub. Amazon and Zee Telugu bagged the film. Even though Santosh is not in the best of the forms, the extraordinary non-theatrical business of this Nandini Reddy’s directorial happened because of the goodwill the producers enjoy.
Coming from the house of Vyjayanthi, Swapna Cinema delivered three blockbusters like Yevade Subrahmanyam, Mahanati, and Sita Ramam. All have bet their money on them to deliver another Good film. Let’s hope they deliver.
