While theaters have resumed, OTT isn’t starved as the latter is being considered as a blessing in disguise. Amidst many OTT arrivals, Kollywood star Vijay Sethupathi and Taapsee Pannu’s Annabelle Sethupathi OTT release date is locked.
Being released in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi, Annabelle Sethupathi is skipping theatrical release and is directly arriving on the OTT platform, Disney+ Hotstar. The film will be available on the digital platform from September 17.
Vijay Sethupathi and Taapsee Pannu are popular faces in Tollywood. Both the actors have created a niche for themselves by dabbling into unqiue and content-driven films. The two actors have a set of audience for themselves and when the two power-packed actors are coming together, then expectations are high on the film.
Not only Sethupathi and Taapsee, other cast members include Jagapathi Babu, Vennela Kishore, and Rajendra Prasad among others. The horror-comedy is directed by Deepak Sundarajan. Taapsee’s last Tamil film was Game Over (2019), while she is making her comeback in Telugu after a hiatus with Mishan Impossible.
On the other side, Sethupathi has interesting films in the lineup in Kollywood. His Telugu debut with Uppena was smashing.
