Anil Ravipudi – Getting Repetitive Too SoonThe Telugu cinema in the early half of 2000’s got a set of mass directors who changed the landscape of Telugu cinema and heroism forever. They are the directors Puri Jagannadh, SS Rajamouli, VV Vinayak, and Boyapati Sreenu.

Post the emergence of these directors and successful addition of Srinu Vytla into the list (for a short period), none could create a big mark to be among them. A glimmer of hope was felt with directors Harish Shankar, Bobby, Sampath Nandi, and Anil Ravipudi. However, they still haven’t been able to make it big.

Anil Ravipudi is the youngest of them concerning the emergence, and he is delivering more significant success with each film. There is a big hope among the movie lovers that he would turn out to be next big league director. But, looking at the output of Raja The Great many feel, he would fail with a top hero if he presents similar routine and repetitive content.

In just three films Anil Ravipudi is giving a much dejavu feeling. His success is primarily because of entertainment. In that department too one can feel a downward trend. Raja The Great most likely will be a big success. However, many wish that the director takes a fresh approach to his next film and show some difference in subject and making. Otherwise, It wouldn’t take long before he also turns out another “potential” wasted has-been director.
