When Shankar made the announcement that he is going to make the sequel of one of the most acclaimed social dramas ‘Indian’ (Bharateeyudu), we were one among those who were quite excited as we know the adeptness of the director at social dramas with a message. ‘Indian 2’ has been on cards and it’s definitely happening.
Here, is the first look poster of ‘Indian 2’. Shankar revealed the poster saying that the Indian is back and this time, he is older, wiser and deadlier. Looking forward to seeing ‘Indian 2’ and eager to know which social issue will Kamal Haasan take up in this sequel. In the prequel, he turned menacing angered by the prevalent corruption in the country and went to the extent of killing his son.
The poster also announces that the shooting of the movie is going to begin tomorrow. In the prequel, Kamal Haasan reprised dual roles as the father who was a freedom fighter and the corrupt son who gets killed in the hands of his father. In the sequel, Kamal Haasan might be reprising only the older version and we aren’t expecting a dual role in it. But, let’s see. We are awaiting Shankar’s magic on the big screen, very soon.
