One Venkata Ramana Sharma filed a case against popular anchor Sreemukhi for her objectionable comments against Brahmins. He took offence for the words she used in a comedy show of a popular television show.
So, the above-said person approached Banjarahills Poice station and filed a case both on Sreemukhi and the television channel that aired the said program when Sreemukhi allegedly made those objectionable comments.
The name of the channel and the exact words used by Sreemukhi that could have offended the community weren’t yet known. Looks like, she was sent a notice regarding the complaint and the channel has already extended its apology pertaining to Sreemukhi’s comments.
This wasn’t the first time Sreemukhi landed in a controversy for her comments. In the past, Nayi Brahmins were offended by her comments, and she had to apologize to being down the controversy.
