Anasuya Upset About Ram CharanAnasuya‘s ‘Rangamatta’ character in Rangasthalam is a landmark in her acting career. The public perception of the audience about the actress has completely changed post that film. But then, Anasuya was not really happy about her role while doing the film.

“I was upset. I was cribbing about no makeup for that character. Why Ram Charan has to call me Rangamatta and why not just Rangamma, Rangammakka, or something. I cribbed a lot but at the same time, I did what I am expected of by the team,” Anasuya revealed.

“I have those momentary struggles not only with Rangasthalam but also with all the films which got me a good name. Probably, that is the reason why those characters worked in the film, and Rangamatta’s character is so famous today,” the actress added.

Anasuya was recently seen in a direct OTT release, Thank You Brother. She will be next seen in Ravi Teja’s Khiladi and Allu Arjun’s Pushpa. She is also making her debut in Tamil and Malayalam as well.
