It is known that Anand Deverakonda’s next film, Highway is skipping theatrical release and going directly for OTT premieres. The same was confirmed by the film’s OTT streaming partner, Aha Video recently.
The latest development is that ” rel=”noopener” target=”_blank”>Highway has indeed locked its direct to OTT premieres date. Aha Video has also dropped the official trailer for the film with the OTT release date imprinted.
Highway will be made available for streaming on Aha Video from the 19th of August. The trailer implies that Highway is an action thriller with a underlying layer of suspense. It revolves around the story of a psycho killer who is involved with a series of murders.
The last time Anand took the direct to OTT route, he delivered a decent near to life drama in Middle Class Melodies. What does he have in store this time around with Highway, which appears to be a thriller drama. Highway is directed by KV Guhan who previously made 118 with Kalyan Ram.
