Natural Star Nani’s Tuck Jagadish has skipped its theatrical release and arrived directly on Amazon Prime Video. The movie has got disappointing talk and reviews. Social media is full of trolls about the movie. However, Amazon seems to be not giving up on the movie yet.
The OTT giant has given two full-page ads in Eenadu Newspaper today. Eenadu is the largest circulated Telugu Newspaper and the ads have appeared in all three editions – Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Hyderabad editions. Amazon seems to be keen on the popularity of Nani with the family audience to increase the film’s viewership.
Amazon has spent 39 Crore plus GST on the movie. It has previously directly premiered Nani’s V as well. That movie is also a disappointment in terms of talks and reviews but Amazon has gained in terms of viewership and subscribers. So, the OTT giant is looking for the same result as Tuck Jagadish as well.
Meanwhile, Nani’s fans are looking forward to the actor’s next, Shyam Singha Roy. The movie releases this year-end and will arrive in theaters this time.
