Amazon Prime Video has let out the announcement about Allu Arjun’s Pushpa OTT Release. The movie will be premiered in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada from January 7th. Interestingly, the movie will be premiered at 8 PM on that day.
Usually, Amazon will not screen post-theatrical releases so early but the platform is keen on milking the craze as much as possible and so has opted for an early release. Interested audiences and fans can watch the film and go to bed right on the first day itself.
The makers have bargained with Amazon and managed to hold back the Hindi version premiere hoping that the movie will get an extended run in the Hindi markets. They even wanted to delay the OTT premiere of the remaining languages but the OTT major did not relent.
The makers have got into an agreement with Amazon for January 7th release hoping that Rajamouli’s RRR would release that day and end its run. But the third wave in India forced the postponement of RRR. Fans are very much disappointed as they feel the early OTT Premiere will curb the chance of Sankranthi run.
