Samantha made her OTT debut with Amazon Prime’s The Family Man 2. The actress has reportedly signed another project with the top OTT platform.
The latest news is that the said collaboration between Amazon Prime and Samantha will be a big budget one. It will be an adaption of Amazon’s flagship American drama series, Citadel, which has Priyanka Chopra, Richard Madden, and others in the lead roles.
Amazon is said to be conceiving the Indian adaption of Citadel as one of its flagship outings. Samantha will be playing a pivotal role in the series and it will also feature Bollywood star Varun Dhawan. Raj and DK, who helmed The Family Man 2 will be directing the Indian adaptation of Citadel.
Sam has apparently started training for the action stunts in the series. She is going the extra mile for the same. She had received appreciation for her stunts in The Family Man 2 and it remains to be seen what she has in store for us this time around.
As it appears, Samantha – Amazon Prime series will be one of the premier outings in the Indian OTT space. More details to be out in the due course.
