Amaravati assemblyThe state government is not yet decided about the temporary Assembly proposal in Amaravati. Plans are on for to have the winter session of the assembly in Amaravati and wants to have a temporary structure build there. But Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is in a dilemma regarding the proposal as already there is criticism about government’s over expenditure over foundation fete arrangements.

The winter session will only last for 5 days and building a temporary structure will prove to be very costly. Also the Assembly had to bear all the expenses regarding the members’ stay, food, transportation etc. Speaker Kodela had got proposals regarding the session and is now forwarding it to the Chief Minister.

So as not to project it as waste, the Speaker also sought proposals for the temporary setup to be also used for the next budget session. However this idea will be executed on the sole discretion of the Chief Minister. The state government is likely to take a decision on this very soon as the session is nearing.
