Gautham Menon’s new project ‘Dhruva Natchathiram’ will be beginning its shooting sessions soon and it has finally been decided who will play the role of the protagonist. The competition for the role was between actresses Trisha and Amala Paul and the latter apparently bagged the part however it has not been officially confirmed. Amala Paul, actress of ‘Thalaivaa’ fame in which starred opposite Vijay will now work alongside actor Suriya.

All the Trisha fans must be wondering why Amala was chosen for the role instead of Trisha but the answer is simply because according to the director she seemed more suitable for it. Other important members of the cast include actors Parthepan, Simran and Sudhanshu Pandey. This will be the third movie where actor Suriya and director Gautham Menon will work together, the other two being ‘Kaakha Kaakha’(Gharshana in Telugu) and ‘Surya s/o Krishnan’.
