Actress Amala Paul may have broken the hearts of thousands of her fans, but she finally married filmmaker Vijay in Chennai this morning. The couple have been dating each other for nearly three years and finally decided to get married after the consent of their parents. The wedding was attended by all popular names of the industry.
While Amala was dressed in a red Kanchivaram sari, Vijay was draped in white-and-white dhoti and shirt.The couple will host a grand reception party in the evening for which Amala will be seen in designer Sabyasachi’s creation. She will be decorated with jewels from Amrapali and Joy Lukas. Industry members who attended the wedding and blessed the couple include Mani Ratnam, Jagapathi Babu, Vikram, Arya, Bala, Jeyam Raja, Abbas, Krish, Sangeetha Krish, Samuthirakani and many more.
The couple are expected to go on honeymoon to Italy. Apparently, Italy has been Amala favourite holiday spot for many years and when she requested Vijay to go there after wedding, he instantly agreed.
