Big Plans for Kochadaiiyan

There is no doubt that Kochadaiiyan is a very special film and is made on quite a big level. But director Soundarya has even greater plans for her first movie that is being released in six languages and is also the first film to be made using motion capture technology.

Talking about the same, Soundarya said that they wanted to do something unique with the film and Motion Capture technology came to mind since it was never used a full fledged thing in Indian films. This technology allows the spirit of Rajnikanth’s performance to be captured and in turn provides a lot of creative license in terms of the character’s looks, building of generous sets, monitoring unrestrained fight sequences as well as the conception of complex and intricate costumes. With all this, Soundarya sure hopes that ‘Kochadaiiyaan’ will be some sort of a game-changer for Indian cinema.

Kochadaiiyaan audio will be launched today in a grand scale today at Satyam cinemas, Chennai. Ranikanth, Deepika Padukone and Sharukh are expected to grace the big event.
