The teaser of Sree Vishnu’s Alluri is out now and it promises nothing like Sree Vishnu’s recent comedy entertainers. The teaser is an action packed one.
Sree Vishnu, for the first time in his career, is donning the cop uniform for this action thriller which is directed by Pradeep Varma. The teaser is loaded with slow-motion action shots featuring Vishnu, who is evidently playing a powerful cop in the film.
The action shots in the teaser look aesthetic, thanks to some good work from the cinematographer. The visuals are slick and so is the background score. There is this one particular action shot in a red background that looks very impressive.
Going by the teaser, Alluri is essentially a cop dram that revolves around a clash between an upright cop and a gang of baddies.
Vishnu has put on some weight for the cop role. “Alluri Seetharama Raju sub inspector of police” he says towards the end and it packs a punch. There is a massy vibe to it.
There haven’t been too many massy cop thriller in Telugu of late and it should be seen if Alluri will make the most of the opportunity. The film is produced by Bekkem Venugopal under Lucky Media banner. The release date will be announced soon.
