Allu Arjun’s Industry Hit Same As Charan’s DisasterWell, well, this is turning out to be an unexpected shocker of sorts? Who would have thought a Trivikram Srinivas movie would crash this way? But, it is happening with Icon Staar Allu Arjun’s Industry Hit (Non-Baahubali) movie Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo.

We are talking here about the TRPs of the Allu Arjun and Trivikram movie, Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo. After a record-breaking World Television Premiere, the subsequent telecasts of the movie have been abysmal. It is here that the comparison with Ram Charan’s disaster comes into the picture.

Ram Charan’s Vinaya Vidheya Rama had a disastrous theatrical run, but its Television run has been pretty good. Part of the reason is, no doubt, director Boyapati Sreenu, but it is working nonetheless as a combo.

The recent fourth telecast of Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo delivered a TRP of 4.98. In comparison, Ram Charan’s Vinaya Vidheya Rama on its 19th telecast generated a TRP of 4.96. One can see the massive drop in numbers and viewership here. Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo started with a record-breaking 29.4 TRP, whereas Vinaya Vidheya Rama registered less than 10 TRP (7.9 to be precise) on its premiere.

Could the overexposure of Ala Vaikunthapurramulloo digitally be the reason for this lack of sustainability? It should be; otherwise, one can’t explain the drastic fall as Trivikram Srinivas movies are known for blockbuster runs on the small screen.
