Following the blockbuster success of KGF 2 at the box office, the focus has shifted to South Indian cinema’s next big sequel, Pushpa 2. Incidentally, a Bollywood tabloid wrote that Pushpa 2’s shoot had been halted as the director Sukumar is blown away by the scale of KGF 2 and he now wants to upscale Pushpa 2 as well.
This Bollywood media report is going viral on social media now. Twitter users are commenting that Pushpa 2 unit should be ashamed for copying KGF 2 strategy and trying to emulate what the latter did.
Firstly, the authenticity of this report can be determined by the fact that they wrote Pushpa 2’s shoot had been halted, while the film’s shoot hadn’t even started till now. Sukumar and Co are working on the script to make sure the second part makes the most of the platform laid by the first part.
Even if Allu Arjun and Sukumar are using KGF 2 as an inspiration to upscale their project, there is nothing wrong in it. It just means that they are ambitious and intend to deliver a good film.
Moreover, Pushpa 1 is already a big hit in Hindi and the stakes are high on the second part. Now, KGF 2’s success might add more fuel to Pushpa 2 unit’s fire. Twitterati are implying as if taking inspiration is a crime and that can’t be the case.
