Allu-Arjun-ShehzadaRemakes are never too easy to execute. Recreating and ideally bettering the original is always a tough task. More often than not, the remakes destroy the whole vibe of the original let alone match its standard.

Now the discussion is about Shehzada, the Hindi remake of Allu Arjun’s Ala Vaikunthapurramulo. The remake has Karthik Aryan in the lead role and the teaser of the same dropped earlier.

The teaser has opened to largely poor reviews and those who’ve watched the original are lambasting Karthik and the makers for ruining the original.

“Karthik Arjyan is no match to Allu Arjun who has a good proportion of swag and style. In the attempt to match Arjun, Bollywood’s Karthik has failed miserably. His screen presence in the teaser is cringe stuff” a netizen commented.

“Ala Vaikunthapurramulo is no classic but it had enough entertainment and Allu Arjun’s charismatic presence to pull through. Shehzada has cringe stuff. Completely lost interest in the remake. Maybe the makers should’ve dubbed and released the Allu Arjun film here instead of remaking it” a Bollywood follower commented.

Going by the response on social media, it is safe to say Shehzada is under the pump already. Karthik and Co. are getting to learn it the hard way.
