Allu AravindIt’s raining good news for the Telugu film industry in 2021. Amid the fears of Corona troubles, the audience thronged to the theaters in big numbers and rubbished any threats to the existence of the theatrical business. The filmmakers have mustered courage and have been lining up their films for releases one after the other.

However, the loss of Overseas business is still a concern especially for medium-range and big films. To compensate for the loss at least to some extent, Allu Aravind’s Aha Video has thrown itself into the ring of digital rights competition.

The OTT platform is trying to bag the post-theatrical digital rights of notable films. It has already bagged the post-theatrical digital rights of Krack and Love Story. We are told that the OTT platform is in talks with more filmmakers and will be making the announcements as soon as the films’ release draws closer.

The entry of another player into digital rights will only increase the competition and ensure the filmmakers get better prices.
