Allu Aravind's Convenient Business Logic? There’s a heated discussion about the theater allocation for Varasudu, Waltair Veerayya and Veera Simha Reddy next Sankranthi season. When asked about the same, Allu Aravind said “After Baahubali, the entire Indian cinema has become one and it is not possible to stop dubbed films as the audience are encouraging well made other-language films.”

But Allu Aravind‘s business logic is a very convenient one, particularly so after tasting success with dubbed films like Kantara, and others. Allu Aravind and Dil Raju are following the same path.

Next Sankrathi season, Dil Raju’s production venture Varasudu is releasing alongside Veerayya and Veera Simha Reddy. The issue here is that Varasudu looks set to get theaters on par, or possibly even more than Veerayya and Veera. This is outrightly atrocious.

Having two senior mass heroes Chiranjeevi and Balayya’s films, a dubbed film can’t be given the top priority at the box office and that too in a prime season like Sankranthi.

If Varasudu is given screens according to its market then it’s fine. But giving it more importance than Chiru and Balayya’s films is not acceptable. Aravind says content films will be encouraged by our audience.

But even by that logic, Varasudu should be given its level of release next Sankranthi and if it really gets a better talk than Chiru and Balayya’s film, then theaters can be increased. But giving it a better release than the two Telugu biggies sounds outrageously atrocious.

Why should the Telugu audience have to see someone from other state while our two superstars Chiru and Balayya are given comparatively lesser importance in their own territories that they ruled for many decades?
