Allu Aravind & Dil Raju Reversed The Trend & SufferedBollywood is at an all-time low, and the South movie industry is making its mark in a huge way among all sections of the audience in the country. Even the most prolific filmmakers of Bollywood like Karan Johar, Farhan Akhtar, Bhushan Kumar, and Sanjay Leela Bhansali are turning to South superstars as Bollywood stars have lost their charm by doing inane movies.

On the other hand, our Tollywood producers are getting their pockets burned by signing Bollywood stars. A recent example is Jersey.

Allu Aravind and Dil Raju are suffering huge losses as Jersey is doing dismal business at the Indian box office. The trade pundits say that the film is made on a budget of 100 crores and will hardly collect even half of it. Both the producers are getting mocked on social media for missing this small logic that putting money on Bollywood stars is a big risk these days.

Shahid Kapoor’s last film Kabir Singh grossed around 275 crores in 2019, and maybe that’s what prompted Dil Raju and Allu Aravind to sign Shahid Kapoor. But things have changed post-pandemic, and Indian audiences are just not interested in remake films of Bollywood stars.
