Once tagged as a minimum guarantee hero by the trade pundits, Allari Naresh is reeling under back to back flops. One would expect him to be under depression. But, the actor isn’t depressed as he had seen ups and downs in the career of his father, EVV Satyanarayana.
Now, he knows that spoofs alone with mindless comedy aren’t going to work. He understands that stories need to have an emotional connection to reach the audiences. This phase is like a passing cloud opines the actor who once had been the comedy king doing 5-8 films in a year.
In a recent interview besides rubbishing about depression, Allari Naresh expressed interest to direct movies. It was his father’s wish that Naresh becomes a director. But then, Naresh needs to come out of this flop phase in his career and record at least one decent hit. It’s not easy though. There is still time for him to take up direction. What say?
