The recently released ‘Arjun Reddy’ directed by debutant came to be a huge blockbuster success and even managed to loosen the sure-footing of several established senior actors. The film, that starred Vijay Deverakonda as the lead, will soon go to sets in Tamil and from what we hear, the remake will also feature a debutante.
The movie will be titled ‘Varma’ and is to be directed by Bala. While the female lead for the film is yet to be chosen, the shooting will commence from March 2018. For the role of the female protagonist, actress Shriya Sharma of ‘Sillunu Oru Kadhal’ fame is being considered aside from any other new faces.
This remake will feature Chiyaan Vikram’s son Dhruv for whom this film will be an entryway to the film world. There is a lot of pressure on the young actor’s shoulders as there are a lot of expectations from the film. Film analysts suggest that comparisons to be made between the leading actors of both the films will be quite common. Let’s hope Dhruv’s charms work!
