A film coming from a big banner like Suresh Productions and presented by Rana Daggubati is expected to open with proper promotions. However, the sudden steaming of ‘Krishna and His Leela‘ on Netflix last night was as if it came out of nowhere without any publicity.
Nevertheless, the surprise lies elsewhere. The movie opened to positive talk and was quite impressive for an OTT direct release. A date announcement prior to the direct release would have been great for ‘Krishna and His Leela’.
Though it was a known thing that the movie might have a digital platform release directly, last night it started streaming all of a sudden but opened with a bang catering to the tastes of the young audiences.
Coming to the movie, it had a predictable premise but its neat writing and the novel twist worked in its favour. Especially, the relatable premise to the present generation and the neat casting has easily made it a one-time watch for digital viewers.
