There were as many as four new releases this Friday, and all of them have bitten the dust. The biggest disappointment was Sunil’s Ungarala Rambabu.
Not much was expected from Ungarala Rambabu in any case, but it has failed to get even decent openings. It is the second successive Sunil film after Eedu Gold Ehe to get a similar lackluster opening. It is as if people have lost interest in the comedian turned actor’s films.
The rest of the movies, Kathalo Rajakumari, Veedevadu, and Srivalli were non-starters, to begin with. There was simply no opening for them. All eyes are now on the biggies Jai Lava Kusa and Spyder. The former hits screens on the coming Thursday. The advance booking has opened, and it is good so far.
