Alia Bhatt is a youth heartthrob with a superb multiplex following. The success of Raazi has taken her to a new level. However, it is still not on a pan- India level, especially with the masses. She has movies lined up balancing both the sides, which is sure to take her up in that department. So, where do RRR fits in her scheme of things?
If and when Alia Bhatt is officially announced as part of RRR it will become a bigger project than what it currently is on a pan-India level. Right now, it is the name of SS Rajamouli alone for the Bollywood version, but with Alia Bhatt on board with two big stars, RRR would be as massive as it gets on an all-India level.
As we all are aware, Alia Bhatt is already part of Kalank, Brahmastra and Takht. These three are the biggest Bollywood movies right now. If she is also part of RRR that would mean all the four high budget Indian movies are in her kitty. These should surely fill the mass void that is the only missing angle in filmography. The performance-oriented films could always come at the right juncture.
In short, there is nothing to lose, but a lot to gain for Alia characterizations of SS Rjamouli’s RRR. With the director also improving his heroine characterisations, compared to his earlier days, it would be a win-win situation for her and the team as well. Let us see what decision is eventually.
