Akshay Kumar and Asin Thottumkal have been co-workers and friends for quite a while now, with movies like ‘Khiladi 786’ and ‘Housefull 2’ under their belt. So the question of Akshay helping Asin and her to-be-husband Rahul Sharma get together was not very surprising.
However, the actor, who is a friend to both Asin and the Micromax founder, Rahul Sharma, recently cleared the air about the rumour. He stated that while he did introduce them to each other, it was with no intention of getting them together. When asked whether he played the matchmaker in their relationship, he denied it and jokingly said that, “koi ‘matchmaking’ company nahi kholi hai maine.”
The actress, who will soon be seen in the movie, ‘All Is Well’ alongside Abhishek Bachchan and Rishi Kapoor, has not commented on her relationship yet. Kumar’s upcoming movie ‘Brothers’, featuring Sidharth Malhotra, is also all set to hit the screens soon.
