Releasing small movies on OTT platforms has become the order of the day as the pandemic gave no option for many movies than opt for a digital release. But, the makers of ‘Akshara’ reportedly turned down the OTT offers.
Going by the promos of the movie, it’s a decent thriller that might work mainly because of the concept and how the thrilling elements were integrated into the narrative. The actors chosen are suitable for the parts they played, according to the teasers of the movie.
Since it’s a small film, releasing in the theatres, ‘Akshara’ needs some major attention and focus through various media platforms. They took a brave decision by not opting for a digital release. But, will the small concept-based theiller work?
Nandita Swetha is playing the lead role in the movie with the supporting cast comprising Ajay Ghosh, Shakalaka Shankar, Sathya, Madhunandan and Sri Tej. Chiini Krishna is the director of this small film that took a brave step in the current scenario.
