Sushanth could be the only Akkineni hero whose success rate is almost nill. Of course, Akhil is there, but he is only a junior. Audiences have really not been accepting him as a hero and after 5 continuous flops and a decent delivery, finally, he took a very useful decision to keep himself occupied on screen, not waiting for the ‘hero’dom.
He decided to play a character role in Allu Arjun and Trivikram’s film, tentatively titled AA 19. He took to social media to give this update of himself sharing the screen with Allu Arjun and was under the excitement to have been on the sets for his first day of the shoot.
This is definitely is a good sign. He tried his best but did not find the acceptance as a hero despite so many attempts. Except for Chi La Sow, which worked to some extent but not to the level it can change his fate. The credit went to the script and the direction of Rahul Ravindran.
It is always best to keep himself busy and part of the industry rather than sticking to hero roles when there is no encouragement. Let’s see if Allu Arjun saves Sushanth’s back.
