Akhil speaks about his debut director Vinayak as a hard task master who wouldn’t compromise even a bit if he feels his actors are uncomfortable with a particular shot. Akhil explains how he took 11-12 takes for a simple scene in which he has to give expression for heroine’s introduction scene.
Well that explains two things. Either Vinayak is not easy to please or Akhil needs more grooming in terms of performance. Coming to the songs, Akhil feels that his best and favorite song is ‘Hey Akhil’, for which dance master Johny master squeezed him for dance moves.
Of course, that had paid off as Akhil proved to be good in the department where his father Nag and brother Chaitu proved to be weaklings.
