This only shows how popular are our Telugu and Tamil heroes in Karnataka. The State being the border of AP and Tamil Nadu is added an asset for our heroes in Sandalwood.
Google released the list of most searched actors and actresses in Karnataka in the last three months. And the top position went to Ajith and Prabhas came only next to the Tamil superstar. Besides these two, Rajnikanth, Dhanush and Vikram joined the top 10 list from Kollywood; Allu Ajun,Mahesh Babu, Pawan Kalyan and NTR from Tollywood.
The only Kannada superstar who got the place in the most searched list was Sudeep. This trend seems to be very interesting despite the fact that dubbed movies of Telugu or Tamil aren’t allowed to release in Karnataka. Instead of dubbed versions, straight movies retaining the original Telugu and Tamil language hit Karnataka theaters, especially Bengaluru.
