It looks like it is just a matter of time when various film industry will resume operations. While the Telugu film industry is gearing up to start in phases, Bollywood whose headquarters in Mumbai, the epicenter of Corona cases of India is also going to re-start.
Maharashtra’s Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray asked the industry to give him a plan of action if they wish to continue shooting for their films, TV, and web shows. He said that if the norms, including social distancing, can be followed, then the shooting can be resumed.
The Post-Production works will start first and the shootings will have to begin on a cautious note preferring closed studios and out of the state locations in the initial months. Films releasing may take a while since releasing a Bollywood film will mean re-opening of theaters across the country.
So, releasing Hindi films may happen at last when compared to other language films.
