A few years ago, Superstar Mahesh Babu’s son Gautham made his big-screen debut with the movie 1 Nenokkadine. Although, not similar, now its turn of the Superstar’s daughter Sitara.
The little princess will be lending her voice for an essential character in the Telugu version of the upcoming Disney fantasy adventure flick, Frozen 2. It is a first for Sitara to be heard in any movie so far, which makes the outing special.
Apart from Sitara, Frozen 2 will also feature the voices of Nithya Menen and actor Priyadarshi. They are all going to dub for vital characters in the movie.
The trend of dubbing for animation movies is slowly, but steadily catching on in Telugu film industry. Earlier in the year, The Lion King had voices by Nani, Brahmanandam and Ali etc. Similarly, Aladdin had Venkatesh and Varun Tej, doing the same. Even before that, Rana stole the limelight proving the voice for Thanos in the two Avengers finale movies.
Besides the instant relatable and recognition factor, the dubbing or giving voices to a character in popular flicks keep the actors buzzing. The fans get something new than the usual. It’s a win-win situation when the Hollywood movie works big time.
