Films from South film industries getting remade in Hindi is pretty common. Almost every alternative film releasing in Bollywood these days a remake of a South film. Let’s take the example of one of the most recent hit film in Bollywood, Heropanti. The film was a remake of Telugu film Parugu starring Allu Arjun. The interesting thing to notice here is that it wasn’t a recent film from the star rather it was done long time ago but it still got remade.
It just shows that the Bollywood makers are keeping a close eye on the films of the Top South stars and the top South hits. So how could Race Gurram not come in their radar? Well it has indeed found taker in Hindi. Apparently it is hero Varun Dhawan who has got hold of the remake rights of the film amidst stiff competition. The actor recently scored a big success with Kandireega remake and it looks like he wants to repeat the magic again. Race Gurram remake is expected to go onto sets by the end of the year when the actor is free from his present commitments.
