Bollywood young and happening hero Ranveer Singh has been that lucky guy who got back to back chances to play the lead roles in Bollywood ace director Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s legendary period films.
The first one is period drama ‘Bajirao Mastani’ in which he played the Maratha ruler Bajirao and the second one ‘Padmavathi’ is still in the making in which he is essaying the role of Turkish ruler Alauddin Khilji. Besides Bhansali, who is Ranveer Singh’s favorite who can handle such period dramas?
According to Ranveer, it is none other than Rajamouli. The young hero thinks Rajamouli is amazing as a filmmaker and he is the one who is changing the trend. He calls ‘Baahubali’ as incredible and a perfect example of a mainstream film. We agree. Even the scale of ‘Padmavathi’ is being publicized comparing with ‘Baahubali’.
