After A Big Blockbuster, Hero's Nine Films Got ShelvedVishnu Vishal who was last seen in Rana‘s Aranya was the hero in the Tamil blockbuster, Ratsasan (2018). The movie was a commercial as well as a critically acclaimed film. It was remade in multiple languages including Telugu (Rakshasudu starring Bellamkonda Sreenivas).

But even then, things went exactly the opposite for the hero after that. “I have signed nine films after Ratsasan but all of them did not take off due to various reasons. I did not even increase my salary and there is no mistake of mine. I was so frustrated. FIR was the ninth film. The producer backed off after a grand launch,” Vishnu Vishal told M9.news in an interview.

“I thought I do not deserve what is happening. I decided to take up the project myself. But we have three Lockdowns hampering the release. My wife, Jwala Gutta connected me to Ravi Teja Sir. He watched the film’s trailer and rushes. He liked it immensely and decided to release the film in Telugu,” Vishnu Vishal revealed.

Ravi Teja connected me to Abhishek Nama Sir and this is how my first film is releasing on a grand scale in Telugu,” he added. FIR is the story of how a Muslim lad is framed illegally as a terrorist and how he revolts against the system. Manu Anand, an associate of Gautam Menon is making his debut with this movie.
