Nani has two movies in the pipeline as his 26th and 27th movies with aka ‘Tuck Jagadish’ and ‘Shyam Singha Roy’ with director Rahul Sankrityan of Vijay Deverakonda’s ‘Taxiwala’ fame.
According to a report in the Deccan Chronicle, Nani had to replace the producer of the latter with Rahul Sankrityan because of the budget issues. As per the report, the film’s budget estimation was going higher than expected and producer Naga Vamshi wasn’t okay with it.
So, another producer Venkat who is ready to invest as much as the script demands has replaced him. Usually, the budget of a film will be decided by the market range of a hero and sometimes, the genre of the movie if a big director like Rajamouli is involved.
Nani’s last release, his landmark movie ‘V’ didn’t live up to the expectations and was a huge disappointment for him and it was an advantage that the movie went for direct OTT release. The makers were safe.
Now, after one poor film, Nani had to be careful with his upcoming films both regarding content and the budget. What do you think, folks? Will escalating budgets help a film when there is so much uncertainty around?
