Two straight films ‘NTR Kathanayakudu’ and ‘Vinaya Vidheya Rama’ are out in the theatres as Sankranthi releases in the Telugu States. Even the Telugu dubbed version of Rajanikanth’s ‘Petta’ has arrived. Though the biopic on legendary NTR’s life opened to positive talk, the trend is very slow and the early trends are showing no threat to other releases.
‘Petta’ opened to an average talk but it is suffering from theatre issues in the Telugu States. There is a mixed talk all over the social media on ‘Vinaya Vidheya Rama‘ and the result is already out. So, that leaves us with the last Sankranthi release this season, ‘F2: Fun & Frustration’ starring Venkatesh and Varun Tej with young director Anil Ravipudi at the helm of the things.
The movie looks like a perfect festive entertainer with a lot of entertainment promised by the trailer. It is expected to be a perfect comeback for Victory Venkatesh who is adept at his comic timing whenever he has got perfect family entertainers. If the film delivers at this time, it would walk away as the biggest winner for this Sankranthi. The trailer clicked well and hence, there is a good interest on the film in the overseas, as well. Let’s see if the director delivers to utilize this scenario.
