Rajamouli, NTR, Ram Charan’s RRR registered the best advance bookings for any film in the Hindi belt post the pandemic. But this record is set to be breached by KGF 2 1 week prior to its release, which is sensational in every true sense.
As per reports, KGF 2 will breeze past RRR‘s full advances at multiplexes in the Hindi belt by today, which is one week prior to its release. The sequel advantage is overwhelmingly evident here.
KGF 2’s advances have reportedly opened on a super strong note across every major center in the Northern belt. The film is now said to be aiming at Baahubali 2 which registered RS 35+ crore nett advances.
KGF 2 is largely benefited by mass appeal as it is reportedly witnessing excellent advances in mass belts across the Northern part of the country. As we reported earlier, the film is likely to get off to a Rs 30+ crore opening, given the excellent advance bookings.
KGF’s pricing model will be same as that of RRR’s, which should greatly help in excellent weekend revenues, given the prospect of substantially high footfalls.
As things stand, KGF 2 has the best advance bookings for any Indian film post the pandemic and it is inching closer to Hrithik Roshan’s War which released in 2019. The exact figure related to advances will be out soon as the film heads for release on 14 April.
