Kriti Sanon made her acting debut in Tollywood, with Superstar Mahesh Babu’s 1: Nenokkadine. She then did Dochay in Telugu. After that, she was completely focused on Bollywood and hasn’t done a Telugu film ever since.
Kriti is now all ready to entertain the Telugu audiences, with Prabhas’s Adipurush, in which she plays Sita. While Adipurush marks Prabhas’s official Bollywood debut, it marks the comeback of Kriti to Telugu. Sources revealed that she even took Telugu speaking classes and that she’s learning the language to perfect her Telugu dialogues of Adipurush.
Recently, Kriti was also spotted in Mumbai with the book, Sitayan, showing clearly that she’s doing an ample amount of research about her character in Adipurush. The director of Adipurush, Om Raut, had said that Kriti is doing a lot of handwork to best fit into her role, and it is quite evident from this. When it was officially announced that Kriti was essaying the role of Sita in the film, there were a lot of trolls and backlash, with people saying that she’s not the right fit as she looks like a modern woman and wouldn’t fit into the role of Sita. Kriti’s handwork and dedication now serve as the perfect answer to all those trolls.
A schedule of Adipurush recently wrapped up in Mumbai. The film is scheduled to release on August 22nd, 2022, and given that there’s a lot of time, it is being expected that the film will arrive on time, despite the current situation.
