Hari Teja welcomed her bundle of joy, first child, on April 5. While the norm is to post the picture of a baby as the couple breaks the news on social media, but Hari Teja along with her husband Deepu only wrote , “it’s a baby girl’. The popular anchor has now revealed the reason and trauma she went through just one week ahead of her delivery.
Hari Teja shared her ordeal through a video. In the video she talks at length about the painful trauma. She made a shocking revelation that she and her family got infected with COVID, while her husband tested negative. “Despite taking several precautions, we don’t know how we got infected but the unfortunate thing happened as I was due for delivery in a week In fact, I had to get admitted to a COVID hospital where the surgery is performed on infected patients,” she says.
Hari Teja had to be performed C section for the safety of the baby. “As soon as I delivered, the baby was taken away from me as my child tested negative. I couldn’t hold the baby which made me emotional. Only my husband was there with me as other family members remained in isolation. Thankfully we all recuperated,” says Hari Teja adding that everyone doesn’t respond in the same way.
She asks everyone not to take the pandemic on a lighter note and take all the safety precautions.
