actress-amala-paul-dares-to-call-them-fakeAmala Paul is one of those actresses who can effortlessly sink into the performance-oriented roles as much as she can into glamour-doll roles. In the recent past, the actress is seen delivering some sensible performances in movies that are less commercial and more of experiments. She is quite prolific and has four movies lined up for release.

Talking about her recent release ‘Thiruttu Payale 2’ featuring Bobby Simhaa in the lead and it’s average business at the box-office, the actress observed that the movie could have been a blockbuster if any star hero could have played the lead role. The movie would have got a bigger budget and a wider reach. But, Kollywood isn’t considering such movies over mass movies, complained the actress.

That’s the reason why Amala Paul calls Kollywood ‘fake’ unlike Bollywood where the content rules and movies with good content get a decent budget and do good business, as well. Kollywood is lifting those pictures that only have mass elements and movies like ‘Thiruttu Payale 2’ are restricted to average success and denied being a blockbuster just because they don’t have commercial elements added into them.
